Fotografia Calabria Festival was born in 2022 as a development of Fiumefreddo Photo Festival and is the first widespread festival of photography locaded in Calabria.

Fotografia Calabria Festival was born in 2021 and is the first widespread festival of photography locaded in Calabria. Organized and promoted by the Associazione Pensiero Paesaggio, it’s conveyed as a space, not only as a physical one, in which to reflect on photography as a language of the contemporary era, able to grasp all its changes and transformations, but also to highlight the various social, cultural and artistic declinations.
For this reason, every year Fotografia Calabria Festival is dedicated to a different theme and it hosts projects, even unreleased, by photographers from all over the world who through their works frame our time, gene rating profound and diversified portraits. Desides since his birth, the Festival has also aimed to involve young and emerging photographers.
